Are there any in-depth tutorials for Shader Mixer, either paid or free? I'm a content creator and need to know the material system. Any help would be greatly appreciated :). Thanks in advance...

I looked there already Richard, but thanks. I'm starting from zero, so I need to know how the bricks work and what each one does ;). I realize what I want might be a tall order - there's absolutely nothing out there on Poser's material room either...lol. But since the materials in DS seem to be a bit more complicated I was hoping there was something that would go into exactly how everything works.

There is the free tutorial from Daz

I think it gives a nice overview. I haven't done much with Shader Mixer yet though.
Thank you selias....I hadn't seen that. I'll have a look :)
Perhaps a Blender person could answer me this: are Blender nodes enough like DS nodes to muddle my way through? There is some in-depth info on Blender nodes around the internet ;).

Thanks Kerya! :)

I don't know, but I would doubt it since Blender isn't a Renderman Compliant engine.
Thanks a bunch - that helps a lot :)

The PDF that Kerya has linked to is a bit out of date, the brick names in it are the DS3 brick names, quite a few were renamed for DS4, not sure but I think there's been a few internal changes to some of them as well.
