4.7 has made my products disappear

I've just done an OS reinstall, and upgraded to 4.7. I've restored my runtime from backup, and directed content manager to the correct directories. However most of my products aren't listed. My "pose" folder seems to only reflect items that have been installed via Install Manager.

So how do I get my stuff to reappear? It's clearly there since I can still load my old .duf's and the textures are available..

In DS, go to Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager, expand the "DAZ Studio Formats" and "Poser Formats" sections, and make sure BOTH list all content folders you use. If those are correct, do the missing items show up in Content Library under "DAZ Studio Formats" or "Poser Formats"?

They showed up under neither. However I figured out the problem. The stuff I was looking for was under the "content" folder inside one of the My Library directory. If I remember right Daz used to find that stuff as long as the content directory was set one level above it. That seems to no longer be the case.

So I just added the "content" directory itself. I'll see if that causes any problems.

If both the Content folder and the folder it is in are selected as content directories that could cause issues - depending on their order in the directory list DS may add the Content folder to the relative path, which will break the file if you rearrange your content or want to share something you've made. A better solution would be to merge the contents of the "Content" folder with the real content directory it is in, and to make sure you don't recreate the folder in future.
