Problems with PayPal lately

It's already several days that i have problems with PayPal. Not just with Daz, but for any purchases. It goes as usual at first, but when you need to confirm it just eternally stays on "Processing..." page.

So i have to use other means instead. 

I wonder how many of you are affected as well? From what i understand, it's more a thing in Europe/Asia regions and not US.

    We've noticed an issue with Paypal (in Europe) over the past few months on our website, specifically slow response from their servers (it could take minutes to get a response). I believe the issues were introduced as they rolled out their implementation of 3DS 2.0. We had to add Stripe as the primary card processing option. I doubt there's anything Daz can do about it - complain to Paypal directly.

    Yeah i more like want to hear from others who also experienced such. At first i thought it could be jus tme, then i saw website with douzens of reports that paypal aint working as intended.

    Paypal hasn't been working for me as of this morning to purchase items from Daz (I'm in the US).

    Having problems as well (from Germany, Europe).

    Was bounced back from PayPal to the DAZ site end had to repeat the order for two times at a row the last few days..

    Payment pending message today and I may have even payed double for my purchase now. Both attempts left the articles in my basket. But according to my DAZ orders page my order was accepted and is just pending. It's quite confusing.

    PayPal claims to have transferred the purchase amount to DAZ, but calls the payment 'pending' at the same time.

    Will wait what happens on my bank account and the order for a few days before I send a ticket.

    No available downloads of course.

     

    Someone might want to look into the issue.

    I've seen Paypal hung up on processing once or twice, and I'm in the United States.

    I used Paypal for picking up he Rosa Maria bundle today, but it took me 2 tries. The first attempt did not go through & gave me some kind of connection error (I didn't read the particulars).

    UPDATE

     

    PayPal lets me pay PC+ for a day items.

    But no BYOB bundles.

    Very weird.

    UPDATE 2

    PayPal did let me buy a gift card.

    I can now buy with store credit.

    It's a bit of a hassle, but it works.

    Try if it works for you guys.

    Thank you for your patience. Our Team is currently investigating the Paypal problems, and I will send an update as soon as I hear back on a resolution.

    I had the same sort of problems last October during the PC+ Sale. Daz was changing the store software(?), and I thought that was the problem. But it's a little more complicated than that (bear with me). I've had the same problem occuring "on and off" throughout this year, too. The last straw for me was when I couldn't buy Cleopatra 8.1 - Paypal was flagging the bundle as "suspicious activity"/bordering on "criminal activity" - Because of the name/word "Cleopatra" (go figure).

    If the site is having a lot of transactions (like during the PC+ Sale), then Paypal will flag that (or those) too.,

    I use Gift Cards now and (as far as I'm aware), Paypal can't flag a Gift Card. (I hope I've got all of that right).

    Paypal has been pretty slow lately (UK). But the time that it's taking to get through Paypal/Daz is nothing, compared to the time that it's taking on eBay.

    That might be the reason why my BYOB cart bounced; it had items called 'Freak Underwear', 'Boudoir Secrets', 'Wicked Women' in it. Almost seems like some very conservative people rewrote the PayPal algorithms. Sort of fits the general Zeitgeist of late, between some overly Woke on the one side, and conspiracy theory freaks afraid of 'Deep State Cabal' Satanic sex trafficers at the other side, wishing to close down Hollywood and the sinful entertainment industry. Lotsa paranoia these days....

    So you expect PayPal to bounce every payment for even remotely suggestively named items?

    For the first time in a long time, I just got the PayPal 'pending' message too, but the items are still showing in my cart.  My Visa alerts show the card was charged but an email from PayPal says "

    Your payment to DAZ Productions Inc on Oct 22, 2021 is pending".  I hope Daz will honor the prices I paid even though the sale will probably be long gone by then.

    My purchase from Oct 21 went thru but today I have two stuck (duplicate charge - I clicked Place Order twice, thinking something went wrong).  I'm pretty sure DAZ will honor prices.  We all have the emails from Paypal saying that they're holding the payment, I took a screenshot of my paypal account.  What I'm concerned with now - it seems like my cart is basically hung until Paypal gets their act together.

    I got paypal is pending email and the order didn't go through too on my cart under $7 of PC+ for the day

    so I had to empty my cart as I don't want to be charged full prices tomorrow or get another email from DAZ saying there are items in my cartcrying

    I may need to cancel at paypal too before the end of the day as I simply don't have that kind of money blush (the undiscounted total)

    I went ahead and checked out with a different payment type and then put in a support ticket to cancel the duplicate paypal orders, along with the paypal transaction id. (And made copious screen-shots of everything.)

    I put in a ticket,

    both paypal and DAZ show the order as pending

    undiscounted it is $77.87 which exceeds my bank balance and I am on a limited income so cannot risk it

    I will sadly have to take the Paypal report a problem option within 12 hours otherwise as I will incur a $50 overdrawn fee as well from my bank if it goes through

    All my pending payments bounced after a few hours. Meaning my bank account was not credited.

    I then bought myself a gift card, Paypal was OK with that, and bought the items I wanted with store credit.

    well now my order marked failed.

    I really cannot be bothered at this point, the stuff is nice but I don't need it.

    It looks like PayPal is objecting to "Carpet Shaders - Persian Rugs", we've had this happen with PayPal before and are trying to get that added to their allowed list, but in the mean time just remove that item from your cart and your PayPal order should go through.

    ahhh, since that was in fact the thing I really wanted out of the 3 PC+ for the day (I already have 2 other rug products, I love Persian rugs) I will pass for todaycheeky

    I am pretty sure there will be other stuff to tempt me another day, mine was not a big order
