Need suggestions for an updated 'Sporty Braid' please

Can someone help me find a single braid hair like this for G8?



Length is important. All I can find is gigantic ones and I really wanted it short.

While it technically is for G3, converting hair from G3 to G8 is trivially easy and it's probably the best match

I just hope the length morphs work after I autofit the hair to G8.
I need it to be short.

You shouldn't autofit it.

Instead change Scene Identification to G8 before you fit it to G8.

Ok... I've never done that. But I'll try to find some info about Scene Identification.
Would that method work with any G3 to G8 asset?

Due to the change in default pose (T-Pose to A-Pose) things that rely on arms and/or legs being in T-Pose, don't necessarily work, but otherwise yes.

It usually works with G3 to G8 assets - with shoes as an exemption. Flat shoes might work, but heels usually not.

If you load the item without fitting, and select it in the scene tab,  and there click on the 'burger' menu you can find scene identification.

Which of those things do I change?? The actual Scene ID isn't editable.

Sorry for the extra comment. The site made a new one when I edited to insert the image. Hopefully it doesn't do it again for this edit.

Change the preferred base to G8F. I can’t remember if the other two change automatically but probably.
