hi all.
i speak little english.
i want ask you about ctrl+d (move to floor)
i would move a object to another object. ctrl+d move to floor even if there is an object in the middle
for example: if i have victoria 4 and i would move v4 in a floor oblique or on a scale, how can i do it? (in automatic, not with the arrow Y or the rotate tool) maybe with another combinatione of keys
i hope you understand me.

If possible, place the thing you want to align the figure to flat at ground level, place the figure on it, then parent the figure to the prop and position it.
The Align tool can be used to stack items, but it works on the bounding box so it won't help to place a figure on an inner area, and it won't rotate the figure.
It might be possible to do this with Measure Metrics and a script but that would take some knowledge of scripting to do, and would require the setting up of the Measure Metric nodes (and I'm not sure if the available script functions for measure Metrics have been documented).
I do understand (or at least I think I do!).
So far as I am aware you can only use Ctrl-D to have the selected item 'drop to floor'. However, if memory serves, a member named Casual has a script which does what you want.
I use Drop To Top script all the time. There is no undo, so be sure to select your items in the correct order! Saving the scene first is the safest.
thank you all.
Drop To Top script is fantastic.
