I was using the X-Suit freebie and it seems to work pretty well. It made me wonder though, if the the smoothing deformations can be saved as morphs, and if so how is it done? Thanks!

Ummm, VERY GOOD question! Lets TRY IT! Load the clothing into a brand new scene by itself, set it's resolution to Base if it's ad HD. Apply smoothing you want. Export as an OBJ. Now set smoothing to 0 or turn it off. Next click on Edit->Obj->Morph Loader Pro.
Covert TO Daz: DAZ STudio 1 unit = 1cm
In Individual Settings make sure it's X=X Y=Y Z=Z and Scale 100%, no checkboxes.
Click Choose Morph Files, select the exported OBJ and then click Accept. If all went ok you should now have a morph that is the same name as the OBJ you exported and brought back in.
I'm actually curious if this works, it could reduce overhead of smoothing blouses and shirts around boobs a lot.
I was actually curious if the smoothing deformations of the legs when placed in crossed legs pose could be saved as morphs to the character's legs. The X-Suit freebie that I mentioned above provides collision props on the arms and legs to use with the smoothing modifier. So I am wondering if I could create morphs somehow to use in an animation.
