dForce issue - Fixing weights on baggy pants between legs.

Here is an example video of the exact issue:

I have a G8 character using a pair of dforce pants.  There is a painful collision issue between the legs that needs resolved.

Though I've done considerable research on how to resolve this problem I just can't seemingly solve the issue.

How can I adjust the weights so that the pants DO NOT stick together while simulating?

Can I make them collide ONLY with the character and not have self-collision?

I'd appreciate any guidence or advice to solve the issue easily.

Thank you so much for any help!

You can set self collide to off. Then the legs will clip through each other, and most likely look bad.

My question is, do the pants intersects when you starts the simulation? It looks like, and if that is the case you will get problems.

Yep this looks like the issue. OP will need to create a morph that moves the pants material away from itself before simulation.

FYI, the Self Collide toggle is in the Surfaces tab - select the pants, go to the Surfaces tab and click the relevant surface of the pants, scroll to the bottom where the dforce settings are located.
