Mixing old Studio with new one?

I have Studio 3 on my laptop, and most of my purchased plugins that do not work on the current version (on my desktop), will work on that. Can you have both versions on at the same time, or will they conflict? I this is one reason I have not installed 4.7 on the old laptop. Thanks, from someone coming back in from the cold.

Edit: [Blank] you, autocorrect!

Yes you can run 3 and 4 on the same computer. It is not okay to run two 4s though.
After you've set up 4 to find the content folders and all that, the older files will be found in the Poser runtime structure in the "Content Library".
The newer stuff which has metadata for it can also be found in "Smart Content".
And many of the older plugins were updated so downloading/installing those into 4.7 will hopefully have those working for you too.
