Rendering to RIB headache

Hello everyone,

I have a spare PC on which I would like to render my creations using the standalone 3Delight renderer, and having searched the subject I found that it was simply a matter of checking Render to RIB in the advanced render settings in DS 4.7...

But when I do this with my desired output settings, is there a way of stopping studio from actually rendering an image?? As far as I can see the editor gives me the options of: Still Image, Image Series or Movie - which in turn starts an actual render of the image before creating the RIB.

Kind of defeats the purpose of rendering on a different machine when I have to wait for the image render to complete before it creates the RIB?!?

I must be missing something VERY essential here - so any pointers are welcome!!!

:-) FFS - solved it myself; I didn't have Render Target as New Window... <<<blush>>> ah well, one learns by doing I suppose!
