Hello!

How can I put textures on my basic genesis 2 figure?

Is there some guides?

They load with textures, both male and female, are you asking how to create textures yourself?

There are texture sets for sale in the store here, or you could use a 'Merchant resource' pack, which is a lot easier than trying to do it from scratch. There should be Template files in your Product Library so that you can create completely new textures, but if it is just for yourself, you can use the original textures that come with G2, and alter them in Photoshop or Gimp.

    Ok thanks .

    1. Is there a specified link where I can shop textures on the store?

    2. Where can I find the texture standard images on DAZ?

Thank you so much for your help

There are skin textures for sale here : http://www.daz3d.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=skin

You could type in 'Merchant Resource' in the search box as well, it brings up quite a few.

If you go to My Account > Product Library, and type in 'Genesis 2' in the search box in the product library, select Genesis 2 Starter Essentials, and you should find the Template files in there. Just download them using the blue link, and install them anywhere you want them. They are just in a ZIP file, and they are all JPEGs.

If you need more help, just ask.

Most characters come with textures...you can find all the Genesis 2 people here: http://www.daz3d.com/people-and-wearables-genesis-2

    Two cautions:
    - If the product is described as "morphs," "shapes," or "character presets," then it probably doesn't include textures. Be sure to check the "What's Included and Features" section of the product description
    - Be sure to check the product requirements, as some textures will only work if you own the proper UV set

    All clear, thank you.

Can I also edit existing textures into 'My Library' folder, as textures clothes?
