mermaid : thank you.
A simple render using a source file from the Winter in the Lake Product, which I modified.
mermaid - very nice, great atmosphere. One tiny thing: how the coast is cut off below is a bit unfortunate. You could use camera Pan V with a negative value (e.g. -50 depending on the document size) to connect the coast - or a positive value to open the cap a bit, just like at right in the distance.
Adbc, Horo, hubert, mermaid, thank you.
Hubert, For my holidays, there are not enough trees on that island, though (at least, I don’t see any).
Mermaid, Very nice landscape and really wonderful atmosphere. Horo does have a point, though.
I made another landscape, starting from the ‘Rugged’ terrain of Hi-res terrains 2 (David and Horo) and added a HDRI from the same set as well as the fog patches from the environments-inclement weather set (same authors again, never gets boring what these two made!) I change things to my liking, of course.
mermaid : very nice foggy atmosphere, wonderful image, and yes Horo has a point.
Hansmar : Awesome mountain scene, love the environment.
nvlcasting - Your flowering trees are truly magnificent, well done! Warp city is very nostalgic. That cartoonish render is very niicely done indeed. Researchport is a beautifull render, I like the palm tree. I hope to see more of your 'work/hobby'. You are absolutely right, Bryce is a lot of fun.
Mermaid - Signal hill 2.0 looks very good. The birds add depth and scale. I can't help wondering what the monolith stands for...
Hansmar - Sky and sea complement each other in this render very well. I love the reflectons of the rock in the water.
adbc - That is some great terrain you got there! Lots of scale and depth -a thing I almost try to accomplish in a render. Beautifull.

From the Galactic handbook, addendum III: privately owned planets.
Dūmat Al-Jandal
Owner Shaykh Ibn Rashid, also known as the great cartographer welcomes all who have cartographic information to sell or to buy.
Ibn Rashid made his first fortune at the young age of 14 years old, selling information to the League of Wayfaring Planetarians on New amsterdam about a planetary cluster now known as the Thelassian Shroud.
According to legend he found this information in the library of Hebron on old earth while perusing an old book about early spacetravel when some folio's with seemingly forgotten information fell from the back.
Since then he has made retrieval and selling of cartographic information his speciality.
Ibn rashid resides on -what he calls- the absolute dullest planet in existence, Dūmat Al-Jandal, named after an ancient city located in what was once Saoudi Arabia and is now the sea of Jaaball on old earth.
Allmost every professional locator returning after a trip into the unknown will sell his or her newly aquired information to Ibn Rashid.
Those who do not wish to venture into the unknown without a certain amount of information beforehand will consult the knowledgable Ibn Rashid before setting out on any prolonged trip.
Ibn Rashid will also gladly sell information to anyone who wishes to purchase information for buying the deed to a planet with specific characteristics.
Rashids residency is located on the southern half of the planet.
There are three small landing pads, no custom service or guiding automation can be found.
According to Ibn Rashid the planet has not a single exeptional feature and if asked will point at his bald head and explain that there is an accurate map of Dūmat Al-Jandal.
Another Unreal Engine/Bryce hybrid. This one is Spuddyfied terrain with a 2d face lighted from behind the camera. In this case I decided to keep the original sky that I used in UE and originally was planning to replace with a Bryce sky but that -somehhow just didn't seem to work for this render.
I must say that using UE for and with Bryce terrains is just heeps of fun and I am very satisfied with the results.
Hansmar - very nice render. The fog patches look great and how the sun lights the haze gives the scene an early morning look.
Rembrandt - very nice scene and entertaining story.
Double stacked terrain with materials from High Resolution Terrains 2 and Landscapes under Fantastic Skies, the stars are from the Space Construction Kit. Sky and ambient light by the Gasclouds2A HDRI (unpublished like the rocket made by David Brinnen).
mermaid: A beautiful scene and very moody atmosphere.
Hansmar: Another great place for my next vacation. Cool DOF, great mat+cloud work.
Rembrandt: Great SciFi scene. Wonderful dramatic cloud, coloring and lighting.
Horo: Beautiful! Impressive mats and moody color scheme. David's rocket fits well into such a scene.
Rembrandt : thank you. Great story and render, beautiful fiery sky.
Horo : Amazing work with the terrains, beautiful material and sky, I like the rocket integrated in the scene.
Thanks Horo, for the suggestion. Another outstanding render, I also like the addition of the rocket.
Hansmar - thanks. Beautiful landscape, awesome atmosphere.

adbc - two extraordinary scenes, though similar nevertheless different.
mermaid, Horo : thank you for your comment.
The camera is within a tree trunk and lit by the Wph08_SC HDRI from Hyper Texture Base from the inside, see layout from the outside below.
Horo - it's fantastic the results you are getting, this one looks organic, nice work
