adbc - thank you. Very nice render of this far away world.
Adbc another fantastic alien sci-fi scene
adbc, I'm really attracted to your new series of sci fi looking landscapes. This is another excellent one.
Horo, mermaid, NGartplay : thank you for the nice comments.
adbc: A fantastic otherworldly scene. Cool terrain and mat work!
hubert : thank you.
Two more abstracts this time using Hubert's files
mermaid - two great hubism variants. Again difficult to decide which one I like better - perhaps the second.
The terrain is from the Crater Construction Kit (author unknown) with a material combined from Terrain Stacking, High Resolution Terrains 1 and 2. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI from Environments - Inclement Weather and the key light by the sun.
mermaid, I like the 60's look of these. Reminds me of a Beatle's album cover but I don't recall which one. Well done and so much fun.
Horo, Loving that terrain. Very realistic.
Thanks Horo, another outstanding landscape
Thanks NGartplay
Thank you NGartplay and mermaid.
mermaid : fantastic set of hubism variants, great matching colours.
Horo : superb and realistic terrain, love the material and the sky.
Thank you adbc.
Mermaid: Two colorful pretty variants. Just perfect to compensate this cold and rainy day today. :)
Horo: Another great landscape! This sky fits well to the barren mountains. (Only that "roundish" shadow in the left half slightly disturbs me.)
hubert - thank you. Yes, we would expect a more spiky shadow.
Thanks Adbc and Hubert
Two terrains, one inverted, from Landscapes under Fantastic Skies with a self made material within a mirror cube. Light and colour by an HDRI Hyper Textures Base and a bit of sunlight. In front of the camera the GWL, diagonal angle of view 292°.
Horo, very tricky to navigate cavern. The spikes make it looks like it wants to eat us, lol.
Thank you NGartplay. Now that you mention it - one could see this as a big mouth with teeth.
Horo, I think that I see a cavity on the left side in the back :)
Horo - awesome work, I agree it looks like a big mouth with huge teeth.
mermaid - thank you. Well, the big mouth could be mine but without that sort of teeth
Horo : dangerous cavern but wonderful image !
Some Bryce terrains based on images.
Horo: A dangerous cave! It reminds me of a quickly approaching shark..... ;)
adbc: Beautiful. Great terrain work, lighting and mat!
adbc, great terrains. Did you create these yourself with a 2D image program? I bought Horo's terrain program that mermaid mentioned. I opened it the other day and watched a video. Still moving data so more indepth later.
adbc - very nicely done golden scene. I also worked with terrains that were based on images. They can give nice and unexpected results - as we see in your render.
hubert - thank you.
hubert, NGartplay, Horo : thank you.
NGartplay : it was just a 2D image.
Inspired by adbc I used a photograph of a thundercloud on 5 July 2006 at 5:49 p.m. for the terrain and gave it a material combined by two High Resolution Terrains sets and for the sky and ambient light a HDRI from Sunless HDRI Skies.
Adbc – a beautiful sunset/sunrise render
Horo – another amazing landscape,
My starting images for the last challenge.
Horo, your terrain looks wonderful. Looks like something from the USA southwest.,
mermaid, congratulations dear. These are a great starting point for the winner.
