mermaid - again a very nice result with the snowy hills and the valley in between.
wow, Mermaid... the terrains looks great.
Would be beautiful with a water material too, I think... it was my first thought when I saw it. The wild ocean....
adbc - another nice terrains from you, very well done.
mermaid : awesome snowy variation of the image terrain, great soft sky and lighting.
Yellow Pen : thank you.
mermaid, both are wonderful renders. The second has such pretty colors.
adbc, two similar but distinct landscapes. The first is realistic and the second has a surprising alien look to it.
NGartplay : thank you.
Thanks Horo, Yellow Pen, Adbc and NGartplay for the nice comments
In front of the camera is the GWL and it is within the object that was modeled in Wings3D and it is transparent with Refraction 25 (index 0.25). Around the object a reflecting additive sphere. Colour by an HDRI. No light, no shadows, no sun. The camera with the fisheye lens shows around 320° of the cube.
Mermaid:
- Great terrain (conversion) work.
- A pretty and kinda dreamlike scenery.
adbc: Cool canyon work. The 2nd is my favorite due to its mat and style.
Horo: Fascinating shapework and reflections. Wonderful clarity and coloring.
Beautiful Horo
Wow Horo another outstanding render, very colorful
Thanks Hubert for the nice comments
Thank you hubert, NGartplay and mermaid.
Horo : interesting render, love the colours.
hubert : thank you.
And here is yet another bizarre landscape. The (momentarily) last one of my "bizarre DTE-Hubism Terrain" series.
"Obelisk World"
Bryce7 with one 4k-sized terrain, created from an old "DTE-Hubism" bitmap. The terrain object is set to be not anti-aliased. Bump and Reflection add to the crisp look (but increased render time considerably). -- The obelisks are just combined "Additional Primitives" from the Bryce7 Object library.
@ All:
If you want to play yourself...... here is my (old) Bryce4 Freestuff containing all the DTE-Files that I used to create my Bryce7 terrains. Consider to increase their Document Resolution to render the bitmaps in "modern highres size" now. ;)
http://hubert-schaefer.com/hubert/bryce4/Hubisms__2012-12-01_Freestuff.zip
(1.5MB ZIP - 16 BR4 Files with DTE Mats, screenshots and a small overview of all the rendered scenes)
Enjoy.
Wow Hubert awesome work, an outstanding mazed city, love it. Thanks for sharing your files.
Adbc - thank you.
hubert - interesting Obelisk World.
Mermaid: Thanks! -- I had made an even more crips and brighter version. But it was too hard then for the eyes to find/follow the "contours".
Horo: Many thanks. :)
hubert : "obelisk world" is fantastic.
hubert, your terrain is amazing. The red spires add that touch of the unexpected.
adbc: Thanks. :)
NGartplay: Thanks. -- My kudos to Bryce's DTE for having created its bizarre base image.
(quote): "The red spires add that touch of the unexpected."
Even better: They added a neglectable amount of polygons and nearly no additional render time.... compared to that 4k terrain and its mat. ;)
They are so many outstanding images here, and and each deserves a personal comment, but I am sorry, I am currently not able to provide that.
I returned to my old favorite topic: a portrait of a daz character. It's Mei Lin a Genesis 2 character. (BTW you can currently get the Mei Lin Starter Bundle for free) I used bump and specularity maps here. Light comes from the Bryce sun. Rendered with TA and 36 rays per pixel
Electro-Elvis - I'm always fascinated how good your results with Daz figures turn out.
The terrain was self made and given a material from High Resolution Terrains 3. The sunrays are from Environments - Inclement Weather and the clouds from Object Clouds 2D & 3D. The ambient light by the Simplon HDRI (comes with Bryce 7.1) and a bit of light by the sun.
@Horo: Thank you very much. I am happy to play the ball back, I'm always fascinated about your wonderful landscapes and skies.
Horo, what a great terrain on page 80, with beautiful texture. Beautiful abstract too. The terrain on page 81 looks like something from Lord of the Rings.
Mermaid, Very nice results you created. Like them both.
Adbc, Spectacular canyonwork. Still, I find the more realistic first texture the best.
Hubert, your bizarre terrain makes me think of a souk in an old Moroccan town.
Horo, Mermaid, adbc, Huber - Super landscapes and abstracts! I like the variety in these last few pages. Interesting to see Electro-Elvis realistic model. Always fascinating seeing what Bryce can render.
I played with with spheres, taurii, more mirrors and abstractions in the below renders.
(and found out how to post images in comments! woohoo!)
Electro Elvis - a fantastic image, it's superb
Horo - another amazing landscape beautiful sky and rays
Hansmar - thanks
Elvis, Mei looks beautiful in your render. I really like how you used blur in the distance. nicely done.
benbr11, oh, I really love shiny spheres in Bryce. My fave is the middle one. Great job!
Benbr11 - sorry I missed your post, superb abstracts, love them all, awesome
Electro-Elvis : Mei Lin is really beautiful.
Horo : amazing terrain and lighting, as usual.
Hansmar, Benbr11 : thank you.
Benbr11 : a great collection of abstracts.
Electro-Elvis: Great character work. Beautiful lighting.
Horo: A wonderfully bizarre terrain. (Whereas the sunrays are imho pulling the focus and thus distractive.)
benbr11: Three beautiful and joyful abstract images. I too like the second one most.
Thank you Electro-Elvis and Hansmar.
benbr11 - thank you. Three great abstracts, I like the second most.
mermaid, adbc and hubert - thank you.
