Dforce Hair and Later Gen Nvidia GPU's

I recently got my RTX 3060 and a nice card it is at that really does motor along nicely.. So today while fiddling around in Studio I thought, I have some dforce hair products Sea Salt and Soft Curls that I avoided like the plague when I had my GTX1070ti due to snails pace rendering.. So I decided to give them a try and see how my new card handles them, and well I nearly fell out of my chair my 3060 never even coughed when rendering, pretty much bam and done..

While before my trusty 1070ti would run the other way when I tried to render these hair products.. So while my new card has no issue with these products, I am wondering why my 1070ti did apart from being two generations or so behind did not like to render some dforce hair products such as Sea Salt and Soft Curls.. All I know now is that I am a happy camper and can use these hair products without the issues I had before..
