where to get Iray strong white light beam?

I am wanting to do a strong Iray flashlight/spotlight beam (see picture) to penetrate the darkness within a blacked out room. What can I use for this please?

What you're seeing is not the light, but how it interacts with the dust particles in the air. In 3D rendering, that is referred to as volumetrics. Daz/Iray has limited support for volumetrics, but you can create a simple homogenous volume by applying this shader setup to a cube:
