Genesis-Model and Hair

Hello

Since I can't manage myself (as usual), I have to ask the specialists here.
I want to export a model and print it with a 3D printer. Unfortunately, there is a small - but obstructive - problem. The hair of the model is so fine that the software of the printer (slicer) can't handle it properly. There are far too many points, which have no connection to the model.

Now my question:
Is there a way to adjust the hair so that no loose artifacts are created when exporting the model? In plain language - Daz should adjust the hair so that it does not consist of individual strands, but is rather "compact".

Many thanks in advance for all possible answers and help.

Honestly, DAZ shouldn't do this since that would affect many more customers that need the fine detail over the few that want to 3Dprint a figure.

Your best bet would be to look for the hair used on toon characters since it tends to be closer to what you are needing.

BTW, just an FYI, you can only print DAZ assets for personal use, no selling or sharing in case you weren't aware.

  • Thank you for the answer.

I know that I am not allowed to sell the figures. That was also not my intention.
