Can't find Genesis 8.1?

So I've been gone for a wee bit.  I was told it should show up in DIM or my content library under 8.1 starter essentials?  It does not, and I can'f find it in the shop either.

Who told you such nonsense? Every time the question came up here the emphasis ALWAYS was on that it's an updated Genesis 8 Starter Essentials.

You have to update the Genesis 8 Starter Essentials. I think the other thing to update is also the "DefaultResourcesforDAZStudio415", because it has that "PBR" skin shader in it that a lot of G8.1 figures are using. (If you do this manually, it should be under DAZ Studio 4, in your product library.)

I almost forgot. If you haven't updated to 4.15, G8.1 isn't going to work well out of the box.

Hmm not even sure its worth it then.  I have a slightly older machine and honestly,  enough content without 8.1 to last a lifetime even if I rendered something new every day.  Thanks for the info!
