"Missing" textures error when it's not missing.

    what was the fix? sometimes people run into this problem and can benefit knowing what you did.

    and if it was something stupid, we've all been there so no judgment :)

    The fix would be to have the textures in a mapped DS library so it writes the references to them in a relative address instead of an absolute address.

    The post below. Daz is stupid and needs to be hand hold all the time. so if you change the name of folders or re-arranged folders to make things neater...daz will not be able to find the textures cus its file path specific. so even if you rename the folder and not move it, it wont be able to find the file. all i did was change my folder names back to what it was before (you can see the file path in the error message that daz is looking for when you try to load the scene)

    Not being able to find stuff because the user has moved it is not stupid, it's actually a good thing as it ensures that the wrong maps (or whatever) are not loaded in error. If people want to move the resources used by content then the onus is on them to make sure that the references are corrected.
