Controlling multiple dials with one? [solved]

I apologize if this is basic information that I have missed somewhere. I am relatively new to Daz3d. I have a character that I want to make several adjustments to again and again, but only on specific dials and all in equal amounts. I don't want to change every aspect of the character, only particular ones.

Is there some way to link dials together, or create a new dial that controls others? I would love to adjust multiple existing dials by small amounts many times, without having to search out and select every dial, every time I want to make an adjustment. I would love a way to cluster them all together, and only have to make a single change to adjust them all, but still not impact other dials I wish to leave alone. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

  • This is what ERC does. Right-click in the Parameters pane and endable Edit Mode.

You need a master slider, assuming you don't want to use an existing slider for both the master control and its own usual role - right-click in the group you want to add the control to and select the option to Create New Property, set its label and name, limits etc. and click Accept. Set its value and the proeprties you wish to be controllerd, and make sure everything else is zeroed.

Right-click on the new sldier and select ERC Freeze - you should see the proerpty as the controller, and all the others listed as Sub-components - you can deselect any interlopers. Crlick Accept and your master property should be ready to use.

It took me a couple attempts to get working, but this is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you.
