How to select and delete a timeline node

I must be missing something really basic here.  I'd like to delete some nodes from a timeline, but in most cases I cannot select a node.  I try clicking on individual nodes or the node at the top of the timeline, but only rarely does the node actually get selected.  How can I select nodes to delete them?

Thanks...

That's one of the reasons I learned not to use Daz Studio for animation, lol.

    Selecting keyframes is...challenging.

  • What do you mean by nodes? The key markers? Please post a screen shot showing what you are selecting.

  • Maybe I should have said key frames?  Not sure about terminology.  I'm referring to the little black triangles that indicate where some movement or property has been set.

There are two kinds of keyframes: the ones at the top tell you keyframes exist down the hierarchy, and then there are the actual keyframes associated with a property like location or rotation.

The ones at the top are supposed to let you select every keyframe that is nested below it. It works the best if you box select them, but sometimes they just don't work. At that point, I had to go down to the actual keys for the properties and delete those ine by one.

    Yes, it takes forever.

Like I said, this is a big reason why I don't animate in Daz Studio anymore.
