Question about Dreamlight Bundles

There are always some Dreamlight sales going on; I get the emails but avoid going outside of DIM because I'm unsure if that will buy me anything or just make my 3D asset management more complicated than it already is. But there are some nice products on sale today and I noticed one bundle offers a year of membership on his site, not sure what that includes.
One factor that makes Dreamlight products difficult to track in my store account and in DIM is that they don't consistently show up in searches, so I'm always afraid I'll purchase something twice. Also, the training courses have to be manually tracked-down (what folder did it go to?) after installation; this is kind of frustrating.
Also, I've seen in at least one other thread that some Dreamlight product purchases will need to be repurchased when a new version of DAZ Studio comes out. DS 4.x has been out now for a couple years at least, so my guess is we're just about due for DS 5.0 sometime in the next year. I'd be very disappointed to buy a big bundle or two now (even at 75% off), only to find it won't work with the newest version in just a few months.
Can anybody shed some light (*) for me? I may make some purchases today if my nervousness can be allayed.
(*) "pun" intended... Dreamlight, lighting sets, tutorials, "shed some light"...get it? Oh, nevermind!

Well, dreamlight products are of variuous quality. Some are worth their money, others were a mistake to buy.
What product are you interested in in particular?
See this page and scroll down to the section showing the three bundles it's in.
Those three bundles are all interesting to me.
Most of the products in the bundles are not compatible to the current DS version.
There also haven't been any free updates, as you have already noticed.
I'd cherry-pick, if at all, and try to get the other products from vendors here who have similar products.
As for the club, you will get free access to the club forum. Amongst the best features there is the monthly contest, but i haven't seen much there in regards to technical support for Dreamlight products from the man himself.
When you click on the link provided, you will see various "membership plans". I only have the free one, but the hassle the registration involved was worth it - several props and environments. About the paid ones... Well, there are too many options for me, so I hold my horses completely. I'd say: if you need several of the items in that bundle, go with the flow and see yourself. I think buying them separately would cost you more, but do your maths depending on what you want.
Who knows if the return policy would work on this, I admit I'm pretty curious about that.
Hi everybody.
I've decided to hold off on a massive Dreamlight bundle purchase, at least for now. The biggest factor is that I'm not too keen on the idea of this version of DAZ not being supported for some of them, let alone a future one!
I'll keep an open mind for future tutorials of course, and maybe a city/scene kit here and there, but products...I'm going to hold out for a better assurance of future compatibility for my money.
Thank you all for sharing your opinions.
