Silly Me Couldn't Find New Ron's Brushes in DIM

I eagerly awaited the various products of Ron's Brushes I purchased from today's Blink sale. Closed, opened, changed the priority.  I even rebooted, but no Ron's products appeared in the list on the DIM to download. Er, See the attachment  of the product page in the Products Library this shows, the choice between Manual and Install Manager Ready. Can't use that--must use the manual downloader. It's a zip file, extract as usual. To where? Corel will let you create a path to wherever you want. I cheated and used the desk top for temporary testing.

Duh, these are 2d images, so I need a photo/image editor. I have my trusty Corel PaintShop Pro. So it imported the Ron's brushes package I selected. Although his brushes appeared in the brush menu, nada. Just a default big spot from the "selected brush". I thought my version supported .abr format, but then I remembered I used to use ABRViewer. Guess what, that doesn't load on my puter now, error message, I need blah blah. Removed it. As I closed my Corel PsP, a popup for the latest version appeared, 22, so I looked at the blub. Version 22 will support abr brushes. So, I'll get an upgrade, eventually...

So while the product download page shows DIM, have to use the manual download, and unzip, then open image editor,  let it import into the brush app (in the later version of photo editor that supports abr files.) Just let the editor put them where it wants, or make your own path to a folder. A pull down menu under the presets button lets you choose a different path, to keep organized. Thought this might help others wondering why, why, why?

Do you have the Photoshop filter enabled in DIM? Ron's brushes/png stuff shows up under that.

Thank you for mentioning that. I used the manual download to a folder I keep various brushes in, sub folder for Ron's, of course. But I had forgotten DIM can handle brushes downloads.
