When loading a scene is here a way to make any point in the scene about which everything revolves or do I have to drag everything in the scene to the DAZ center point?

If you're looking for a Blender-style 3D cursor, which can be positioned anywhere in 3D space and used as an arbitrary pivot point, then no. The next best thing is to parent everything to a Null/Group and rotate that.
