Question about Obi

Just picked up Obi in the Genesis sale

http://www.daz3d.com/obi-for-genesis

What I want to do is apply his skin to gen 2 male. I do my usual thing, apply texture to Genesis and save the skin as material preset. However when I try to apply this texture to the figure it is misaligned. I have tried all the usual UV sets, but can't figure out which one the character uses. Ironically, V4 seems to work best for his head. But not everywhere else.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

wyn

What does it say in surfaces under UV on genesis?
Maybe they are mixed even for head and body, I do this myself with facegen images.

I had to look at your thread as saw Obi, thought obj mispelt or a Japanese belt.

LOL. Okay, he is using V5 UV's. But I don't seem to have that one in the Genesis 2 Male folder. Is it possible to have that? This is the first male character I've ever had using v5 uv.

    Thanks

if you have V5 for G2F you can copy her UV over in Data

okay, I will try it. I really like Obi's rich skin tone. And now that I have Darius, well, I want to see how that works.

Since M5 is listed as required I would think it would use M5 mapping. If it does use V5 mapping on a male character then that is just crazy in this Cranky Old Fart's opinion.

Yeah, obi uses v5 for some reason. But Wendy solved the issue for me. Thanks! =-) Copying the UV's over allowed me to use the skin of Obi on Darius.
