Bought Item & Supposed To Get Discount on 1st MM Purchase- MM Pricing

Okay, what the heck is going on? March Madness starting on February 26th? And what about that offer a few days ago where if you buy one of the items, you get a discount (that wasn't named) on your first March Madness purchase? I haven't gotten anything telling me what to do for that discount, or how much it is, so I am not buying anything until this gets clarified.

    I've just been told, that the discount stuff is being set out to those who earned it around 10am MST.. so don't panic just yet :)

    My basket shows $10 off on the Darius pro bundle when I put it in the cart. I am waiting anyway.

    The base price is 134.95. Presuming you are a PC+ member, you get 30% off because it's a DAZ Original. It's a 'March Madness' item, which means that if you put it into your cart, it's going to be 40% off, instead of the 'new release' 30% off. This means that in the store, it looks like it's $66.13, but in your cart it'll show $56.68, which isn't quite $10 off, but seems like it.

    If you put both Monique and Darius in the cart, it gets even more complex. The 30% 'new release' becomes 50% MM, which with a PC+ discount looks like around $47.23 each, BUT since having both of them gives you a 10% discount as well, it comes to about $42.51 each.

    That's 0.7 (30% off) times 0.5 (50% off) times 0.9 (10% off) for a total of 68.5% off.

    If there's an additional percentage discount for having bought the pre-MM items, it'll stack against that... ...whew...

    And now I think it's time for me to go to sleep. :)

    Right, they are showing at that $42.51 mark (weird, one is 42.50 and the other is 42.52. Why not make them both 42.51?)

    So I have to wait until this evening to be able to get the price I'm entitled to - forget it. I'll just limit my spending and return those items I've already purchased.

    If I'd known there was going to be a Male released I'd I have bought a bigger Gift Card the last time it was discounted!

    Like others - I am sitting at work all ready to spend, everything in the cart, but don't want to hit 'fire' until I know about this extra coupon I earned later tonight :-( Couldn't they have sent that out yesterday for those of us who shop early. Another Gift Card discount wouldn't go a miss to get me through March now too...

    While I'm sitting wating to the coupn could someone please clarify for certain:
    If I buy both Darius and Monique Pro Bundles will the extra 10% apply to all MM purchases for the entire duration of March Madness? Or is it more time limited?

    I suspect I am also due to get 'something' from an earlier purchase. But just like the recent 'get $10 off a $35 purchase' offer I am, once again, too early. Already bought Monique and Darius. Surely it cannot be hard to get EVERYTHING related released at the same time?

    Edited to add - crossposting with SimonJM - my answer is for Charlie Judge ...

    Not on all MM purchases - but on all MM items - which is not the same.

    The MM items are the ones under "Newly Mad" and (probably from tomorrow on) "Still Mad".

    Which means for example for today:
    if you want only some hairs and the Swamp Witch, you are loosing - it doesn't work, because they are not in those categories.

    Damn it, I bought them this morning and utterly forgot about my discount I was due for buying those other items earlier this week. Hopefully it's a coupon and not something that should have happened automatically or else I'll have to contact support or something!

    So, if I bought stuff that counted towards the coupon and forgot and went ahead and bought the two bundles, does that mean I can't use the coupon for any other purchase or was it only towards your first March Madness purchase? Can I not use it towards a different MM purchase?

    Yes, the 10% coupon will apply to all MM purchases for the entire duration of March Madness. So, each time you make a MM purchase, you'll get the additional 10% off if you have purchased Monique 6 Pro Bundle and Darius 6 Pro Bundle together.

    This is indeed a coupon with a code for one time use. This coupon is good for 30% off and the on-site message has now been sent to those who earned it. So you can use it later on:)

    I didn't notice the 10% discount offer until I'd already purchased one of the bundles. So some questions:

    If you purchase both bundles, is the 10% discount applied to your MM purchases for the whole promotion? Or just for the opening day?

    Do both bundles need to be purchased at the same time? Or does the 10% discount only get applied once the 2nd bundle is purchased as well? By "the same time" does that mean they have to both be purchsed in the same order, or within the same 24 hours?

    Because I'd just as soon stagger the purchases so I can use my PC+ coupon for February on one bundle (as I have) and the one for March on the 2nd, come Sunday.

    30%. That's a hell of a lot of money lost since I bought both new characters and the new outfit and the male dreadlocks and some extra textures. I may contact support and see if they'll flag my coupon as used and give me a store credit since it would've saved me roughly $38!

    Good question! Once you have purchased both bundles, whether at the same time or staggered, you will get a 10% discount on any items that are part of the March Madness Sale (Newly Mad, Still Mad, Related Madness, Madness Stores, Even More Madness, except for exclusions) EACH TIME you make a purchase during the March Madness Sale. So, if you purchased one of the pro bundles and not the other one yet, then once you purchase the other bundle you will start receiving the 10% discount.

    One quick question on the one time use 30% off coupon:

    When does it expire? I.E. if I don't want to use it right now, how long is it good for? Unlike most message coupons, this one doesn't seem to say when the expiration date / time is.

    No, the Pro Bundles do not have to be purchased in the same order at the same time. They can be purchased separately. The additional 10% discount will start applying once you have purchased or are purchasing both Pro Bundles. Also, if you have purchased one of the Pro Bundles and not the other, then the additional 10% discount will apply to the purchase of the other bundle and any other March Madness items in that order and any subsequent purchases during March Madness.

    The coupon will expire at the end of the March.

    Yes, the 10% off applies in the same order as the two pro bundles. So, if you're buying the two pro bundles together then you'll get a 50% discount off of each instead of the 30% introductory discount as well as an additional 10% discount off of each for a total of 55% off of each.

    And just as a note, for anyone wondering as I was, the discount is worth more than the PC coupon (by a lot) if you use it on the Pro bundles - in fact it's worth more than the PC coupon on any DAZ Originals costing more than $20 after the other discounts.
