Parameter settings

I recently purchased a set of clothing for Genesis ( Western Outlaw)
When I load the clothing, all is fine, however I wish to make a small adjustment on a belt (y translate)
I go to parameters select the item, a bounding box appears, but I cannot move it. I have had this problem
before and solved it by going to Zbrush.
Without going to zbrush, how can I adjust this?
( I have noticed that when I change the "fit to" to none I can do it but the application of the setting throws the
item totally off.) In this case the adjustment is micro .

You can't, Fit-To-ing or conforming an item to another item overrides many of the transforming options.

Try going down one level from the root of the belt -- the overall belt may have its parameters locked, but if you select the Hip bone of the belt you may be able to adjust it there.
