Issue opening a saved scene/Shirt ruined and has to be redone every time
In this example, it only takes a minute to redo the shirt every time so it's not a big deal. I'm trying to figure out why it does it, so if I run into this problem with something that isn't so easy to fix, I have an option other than redoing it every time I want to open a saved scene that contains it.
Trying for a particular look (a cheap, oversized, ill-fitting tank top) I found that this attractively priced old V4 tank does the best of any tank top I have. I load it on a G8.1 female, for which I've found the "Unsupported" option gives the morph I'm using to make it oversized. I use a shader to get the material and color I want, then the "Heavy" and "Long" morphs on the shirt to get the shape I want. It dForces nicely into a floppy, oversized tank top. If I save this figure with the shirt in this state as a scene file, when I reopen the file, most of the tank top material is gone. I can't show a screen shot of what it does because it violates the rules. :) But seriously, it seems like the "heavy" morph is broken stuck at 0 or less and the only solution is deleting the shirt and redoing it. It works fine as long as the file is open, but once I save the figure in a scene, opening that scene results in this issue. Anyone seen this before?

I have ... but I do not have a solution. In my case, I am taking the a spartan like belt and bottoms from an earlier generation and applying it to (I think) generation seven. Every single time, I have to delete it, reload it, and retexture it. Like you say, it only takes a moment and it has only been that one item - so I have not bothered checking log files or investigating for a solution. My assumption is somehow something in those specific scripts just do not transfer well across the generations, or the autofit method, or such as that.
