[Converting V4 clothes to G8] Is it difficult? I have autofit in daz but this doesn't work properly. Maybe is here someone who can do it?

You need to install a V4 clone for G8F to autofit V4 clothes to G8F directly, only clones from Genesis 1 and up are included in G8F base.

    V4 clone:

    There's also this batch converter:

Another option is to convert in two steps: first autofit from V4 to Genesis 1, save the G1 version of the clothes, then autofit the G1 version to G8F.

Thank you!  I have some V4 clothes and hair I want to use on G8, so this will help!

You don't really need to convert hair just load position and parent to the head.

If you are converting loose fitting clothing, in particular long dresses, then you may find the rssy converter does a better job than an auto fit clone, at least that has been my experience. Autofit often ends up creating an ugly V shape at the bottom front of the dress.

For close fitting clothing, eg: shirts, pants etc, then there is less to chose between them, but the batch converter is quicker if you have a lot to convert.

A good add-on to get better results with autofit is SY Ultra templates, which give you options for various types of dresses, loincloth, capes, ...

I've used the RSSY clothing converter quite a bit. With most items, adding a smoothing modifier and dialing the Expand All morph negative improves the fit a lot. Some items completely failed, looking like cinder blocks on first load, but re-converting with one of the force options on usually fixes it.

The issue with the RSSY hair conversions is that some older hair items had all the morphs in the neck bone. G8 has two neck bones, so all the old morphs get lost. The converted item has new bones in the hair that make posing easier, but all the old style morphs are gone. Parenting in place with G8 in the 0 pose works well for some items, with limitations.
