Help needed with picking which program to use

I’m trying to do a scene in the back of an ambulance however 3 of the key elements, I.V.s, the Oxygen Mask & the Heart Defibrillator have either tubing or wiring as part of them.

I know that Carrara has had a poor history of rigging or boning, I have no clue if Daz Studio 4 even can do rigging of this type.
Therefore I need help figuring out how to do the Wiring/Tubing without it looking just like some cylinders bend here & there in a line. I want them to be adjustable so they can be in different positions.

My prefer modeling program is Hexagon 2.5 & I’m hoping that I’ll get multiple replies instead of just one generic vague you need to do this answer. To be honest I have no real experience of rigging but I tried doing it years ago but I was left confused.

Heart Defibrillator

Thanks,

    Heart Defibrillator

    Thanks,

One generic vague answer ... usually means that the question has been answered and people move on.
However there a few ways to rig all that ... the IMHO easiest fastest way for limited use would be to use D/S along with Hexagon for morphing. Once the main item is modeled, i.e. one of the box figures, make that a prop. Then model a coil and make it a prop. Then morph the coil stretched out. Save the morph. In scene load prop, load coil, parent coil to box prop, and use morph(s) to stretch it out as desired.

Are you dead-set on actually modeling the tubes and wires yourself? It's usually both easier and more effective to buy a product that already has an element that you need and kit-bash around it, and there are some nice sets of just wires and hoses, like Coflek-gnorg's Razor Rider Universal Props pack at Rendo. (And, needless to say, with Photoshop's puppetwarp tool, you can now do some pretty masterful re-tweaking in post.)

As suggested, kit bashing is a great time saver. NightShift3D has some great products. I've used a combination of this SF med gear and electronic test gear to make ICU and ER props.
