JCM's Flipping the Mesh

I've been playing with JCM's through the morph loader pro and all is going well.... except :)
I'm looking for a workflow that will allow the exported obj to be easily reversed. I sculpt the mesh and get the shape that I want on, say the right shoulder. I would like to get the mirror of that same shape for the left shoulder without completely re-sculpting the other side. Mudbox has a function called Flip Mesh .. but that actually does flip the mesh. So that when the obj is re-imported to daz... the left foot is now in the right foot position and vice versa. Maya has a mirror and symmetry function but they work for poses and not shaping.
In the alternative, does anyone know what software allows for a quick transpose/reversal/mirroring of the mesh?
If no software does this.... what is a standard workflow for insuring that both sides of your mesh have identical joint controlled morphs?
Thanks in advance

Hexagon has a Symmetry function, that allows you to work on, say the right foot, and the identical vertices in left foot are moved at the same time.. That is assuming that the mesh is symmetrical to begin with.
It might be better to sculpt with Symmetry on (surely Mudbox will do that), so both shoulders get deformed the same way. Then turn symmetry off and load the original mesh as a background shape or morph and selectively apply that to the modified shape, first restoring the left shoulder, and exporting as OBJ, then undoing, restoring the right shoulder and exporting as another OBJ. I suspect you are much more like to find the tools for that than to find tools that will mirror a shape without mirroring the vertices.
