Kyrones Eyebrows

Nice character: https://www.daz3d.com/kyrone-hd-for-genesis-81-male

I typically export all of my characters, noticed this issue and couldn't resolve it, so went back to the original character in DS and I'm seeing the same thing there.

Kyrones Eyebrows don't maintain a consistant density or something depending on angle of view.  I'm not seeing anything obvious & hoping some more knowledgable eyes with this product can shed some light.

Thanks.

  • The hairs are probably not flat enough against the forehead, so when you turn the head 45 degrees to the camera, you're looking down on the tips of the hairs, and straight through to the skin.

Try turning the translucency down or darkening the translucency colour (very dark brown, perhaps). Check if there's any backscattering and disable. Also, you can increase opacity past 1 (Gear icon > Parameter Settings > increase max) - this can help create more contrast.

Thanks.  I'll look at those params.

I finally got around to examinging the brows a bit closer.  Althought they are fibermesh brows, they're ~ 1/4 the density of other characters with them.  So, I borrowed some and resolved te problem.

I know this is some years late, but what did you do to resolve the brow problem?
