Backdrop gone?

The ability to set a backdrop appears to have gone. That would mean I have to use a background picture placed on a plane or sphere, right?

    Go to Window > Panes (Tabs) > Environment, it is now there.

    It was moved in DS4.7.

    I know the environment pane in 4.7
    but
    how can I tell the program to have a black background colour with
    active type none
    when creating a new file ?
    it is blue now

    Go to Window > Style > Customize Colours, it is at the very bottom labelled 'Viewport Colour'
