Apocalyptic Laundromat

So let me get this straight. The zombies attack, government collapses, cities are destroyed, people are being killed over a scrap of bread, but I still have to scrap together $10.00 in quarters to do a load of laundry?

Don't worry about looking for those quarters. The machines probably don't work anyway after a zombie apocalypse.

Fallout reference... I love it... I have stashes of beer bottlecaps in tins in the yard and only a few people have ever gotten the reference.

...would also work for one in a cyber dysopia scene.

Of course not, it takes Nuka Cola caps now.

But will it be Nuka Cola caps or Sarsparilla?

  • It might be across the road from the destroyed Hospital for example so you can do a camera shot from there before visiting the Destroyed Mall

When my 25 year old washer went kaput and I saw what the appliance stores asking price for new washers was that weren't nearly as good quality as my 25 year old newly broken one, I just opted to buy one of those smaller mini-washers made of plastic like they use in China at only $169 USD. Since those use gravity drains I am lucky I have an unfinished basement to do laundry in. I suppose next summer or fall when my basement is repaired I force myself to buy a fully automatic modern washer again, bad as I had to throw RTX 3000s series type money out the window on a new washer.

I had to pay $1400 for a top of the line LG because he had dementia and soiled his bed every day. At least my wife did the laundry for himangel Bright side, it plays a little song when it finishes.

  • Maybe there should be a post apocalyptic hairdressers for the zombies??   "Oh sorry sir a part of your scalp came off, but not to worry because we do a nice line in stylish toupee's ".

This washer has no dementia problems because it has no electronics. It does have some simple electrical circuits though.

Like your avatar is wearing is fine. Good in the rain too.

A popsicle laundry looks too eerily like my basement though for me to buy it. Once is enough for such a mess for me to clean up. I don't need to buy a laundry that's a bigger mess than the clothes I'd bring to wash in it. laugh
