Scenes outside my Content Library
I have a removable SATA drive to which I save my DAZ Studio Scenes. For the duration of the project I create a Content Library for it so that I can access my scenes from the Conter Library tab. This has seemed to work fine for a while until I started noticing a spurious /data folder (containg "auto_adapted") within my newly created Content folder. It seems this is created because I loaded something with a .DAZ suffix rather than a .DUF.
My main Content Library is at E:\DAZ Studio\DIM Content and that works perfectly well for me. I just created the other Librtary for convenience because I can then load my scenes from the Content Library tree rather than going to Windows Explorer and double-clicking the saved file.
So is there any way to have a temporary Content Library for my project scenes without DAZ Studio automatically creating that \data folder?

In what order are the directories listed in preferences? IIRC DS saves the data files in the first DS content directory listed.
I have converted a number of Poser format products using a clean work folder in a separate, blank library. The originals were manually copied to the empty library, loaded up, and the auto-adapted folders were always created in the same library, regardless of the libraries' order. Save as Support Assets, delete the Poser formats and auto-adapted stuff before packaging the new format. Don't recall doing any pre-DS 4.5 (pre-duf) formats, though, they would have been installed with the rest of the DS content.
@Leana, sorry, I didn't come back to you on that. As a quick fix I moved the scenes back to the main Content Library. However, that is (and was) indeed the first listed so I take it we should expect the auto_adapted folder to be created there but no, it was created in a folder under my temporary library.
