Mouth Open for Genesis 8.1 Female

Do you have the Mouth Open slider for Genesis 8.1, in the Posing tab ?
If so, do you know the add-on to install for it ?

No addon necessary, quite the opposite if you are using DS 4.15 or newer...

Making the G8 base expressions (and any expressions that are using them) work on G8.1 requires removing dummy/placeholder expressions that are installed to G8.1 morph folders - These dummy/placeholder expression files have no other function than to prevent the base G8 expressions from loading. 

The dummy/placeholder files are located in;

...\Data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Female 8_1\Morphs\Daz 3D\Base Pose Head\ (255 files)
...\Data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Female 8_1\Morphs\Daz 3D\Expressions\ (24 files)
...\Data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Male 8_1\Morphs\Daz 3D\Base Pose Head\ (255 files)
...\Data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Male 8_1\Morphs\Daz 3D\Expressions\ (24 files)

Please make sure you are removing the files from G8.1 morph folders and not G8 morph folders.

These dummy files will be reinstalled every time you reinstall/update Genesis 8 Starter Essentials

It's called "jaw open" in G8.1 expressions.

I did what you say, but I still have the same problem (I relaunched DazStudio and I refreshed my library)

In the Posing tab, for Mouth expressions, I have the following number of expressions:

• for Genesis 8: 42 expressions
• for Genesis 8.1: 39 expressions

With Genesis 8.1, considering the number of expressions I have for the mouth (39 instead of 42) I do not believe that they are blocked.

The fact that there are 3 less isn't very important, but for me Mouth Open expression is very useful (I create the smiles of my characters using several sliders, including this one)

There is no Mouth Open morph for G8.1, it is a G8 morph that comes available when the dummy files have been removed.

If you remoced the dummy files and didn't get the G8 mouth open morph dial, you have those dummy files installed in multiple places - Have you installed/updated Genesis 8 Starter Essentials also within DS? or how are you installing your content?

If you install/update content within DS (Using DAZ Connect), the files will be installed into ...\Data\Cloud\[Product identification\ and they will get priority over all the other installation methods [DIM/DAZ Central/Manual Installation]

If you're following the instructions that PerttiA listed, "Mouth Open" will now be available under the Genesis 8 Pose Controls, NOT the Genesis 8.1 Pose Controls.

If you haven't done that, "Mouth Open" will not be available to use with Genesis 8.1. You will need to instead use "Jaw Open".

In the Pose Controls tab, "Jaw Open" is found under Genesis 8.1 (Female/Male)/Pose Controls/Head/Cheek and Jaw and the "Jaw Open" slider should be there.

You can also click in the search box -- where it says "Enter text to filter by" -- and type the word "jaw", and the "Jaw Open" slider will appear.

I found Jaw Open placed in the Cheek and Jaw section
