hi

i currently render with the deefault 3delight brenderer in ds 4.6.

what i would like to know is if its possible to render using the standalone 3delight software and if it is how do i go about it.

also, is it available as 32bit or do i need tosetup a separate 64bit system for it.

thank you in advance

bill

In the Advanced tab of Render Settings check Render to RIB.

There is a stand -alone command line renderer that you need to use called renderdl.exe on windows. You need to download it separately and run it with the rib file you exported from Daz studio. It only seems to work with single frames and not animations unfortunately.

yes i have that, i have noticed that if i run 3delight on the same computer as daz studio it renders ok, but if i run it on a separate computer without daz studio, by that i mean the rib file it renders without textures.

this using the rib file with the collected folder.

There are also some environment variables you have to set up before running renderdl, they're at http://www.3delight.com/en/uploads/docs/3delight/3delight_8.html.
