Maya 2022.2 MacOS Can't Load Plugin

I've tried to open the importer plugin, but I get an error message saying there's a problem with a melscript. It looks like it's calling something specific to Windows (pluginWin). Is this supported for the Mac? 

I have a MacBookPro with an M1Pro CPU/GPU running the latest version of Monterey.
