Question: How to make an object in the scene, including the light, invisible to a certain camera

edited November 2021 in Daz Studio Discussion

I did a camera animation, but the scene is not big enough so the camera will pass through the wall when the camera is moving, which puzzles me.

Question 2 is how to make light (including mesh light) not affect an object, but still affect other objects. I think these two issues belong to one column, so put them together.
Finally,

thanks to everyone who helped me.

In Daz Studio a Section Plane (Create>New Iray Setion Plane) can hide things from the camera - by default they are wholly hidden but if you go to the Parameters pane with the plane seelcted and turn on Clip Lights the hidden items will still cast shadows and appear in reflections. If that doesn't do what you need then the other option is to use Canvasses, in the Advanced tab of the render Settings pane, with Light Path Expressions.
