How to convert C4D file to Poser or DAZ files?

The title asks it all.

I have a C4D file of a Star Trek ship and want to convert it for use in DS, Poser, and Lightwave, etc.

    Install Cinema 4d or ask the author of the file tom convert it for you.

    Is there a process I can use if I don't have c4d?

    Not that I am aware of. Files like .max and .c4d are very proprietary of their specific programs.

    Ultimate Unwrap 3D can open some
    it is cheaper than C4D by a mile at least but no guarantee it will open the one you want

    Nope, don't see that format listed in Ultimate Unwrap 3D

    You need the additional plugin off the UU3D site, there's a fair few

    Thanks Wendy, wasn't aware of that. I love UU3D, nice to know there are plugins for it.
