Save OBJs as Prop for DS

I have multiple OBJ items that I DL as freebies and can import them successfully into DS but what I want to do is create a 'file' or prop that I can load with 1 click....instead of having to import every time.

I have done this in the past (years ago) with an older version of DS but don't remember what I did and not sure how to do it in DS 4.7.

Thanks in advance for any help with this.

    Have the object selected.
File --> Save As --> Support Asset --> Figure/Prop Assets

    GREAT! Thanks Morgan.

    That was easy!
How would I save the OBJ as a prop without loosing the material zones? I saved a chair that had multiple material zones as a prop and now it has a single material zone.

When you imported it did it have all its material zones? If so, save it as a Scene Subset.

Ahhh, I didn't import with "Read Surfaces" checked on the import options! Checked this option and the material zones 'stuck'.

Saved as Support Asset > Figure/Prop Asset and worked.

Thanks Morgan and Mike for the help!....now to get all the OBJ I have found imported and and saved as assets. Once the Figure/Prop Asset is created and save do I need to keep the OBJ in the same folder or is it even needed anymore?

The .obj isn't needed anymore, but if the Data folder files are lost then the .duf can refer back to the .obj file to recreate them.
