Clothing Woes from Hex to DS

Following the steps on one of the hexagon clothing tutorials, I created a shirt for one of my character figures. He's a morphed up Micheal 6. I can get the shirt to come into DS, but when I try to fit it to the figure it situates itself above and slightly behind. No matter what I try, I can't get it to land on him once I click the fit to. BTW, I'm importing it as an obj, then using the assets transfer tab. Screen shots are my figure with the obj 'on', settings in the Assets Transfer tab, and then the figure with the obj 'fit to'. Any ideas???

The clothing needs to be built around an unscaled figure with Reverse Deformations checked if you aren't building around the basic G2M.

Make sure your base figure is also "zeroed" meaning that there are no bends in any of the body parts before importing it into Hexagon. The reason being is that when you import your clothing into DS, and apply it to the figure, DS is going to assume the clothing is importing at "Zero" position and automatically apply bends to match the default bends in the base figure.

If your clothing is modeled with the bends already there, it will distort because DS is applying those bends from what it assumes is a zeroed model.
