Merging files with dforce and keyframes

I was wondering if anyone can help out with this problem: I have a file with with a dForce simulation applied that I am trying to import to another scene. I just want to import the last frame of the simulation file but I can't seem to figure out how.

If I delete the animation frames before merging, the deletion is done from last frame to first, taking the simulation with it. I can't import the dforce scene and keep the simulation because the scene Im importing too will also have its own animation sequence.

I'm trying to avoid manually deleting keyframes and I can't seem to get them all because of the complexity of the pose.

Any help would be appreciated!

I am running DazStudio 4.12

  • You could hide everything but the simulaet item, or one of them, and export as OBJ, then load the other scene and import the OBJ as a new morph target for the model (Edit>Figure>Morph Loader Pro).

  • Sounds like a good idea. The scene only has one simulated item and the target scene I am merging to will only have camera movements animated, so the figure with the simulated item isn't moving.

I'll give that a shot, thanks!

  • Worked like a charm! Thank you
