I'd love to see these boots for G8

While I was browsing around looking for ideas, I came across an  image on Pintrest and these are some butt kicking boots. And look, no ankle breaking stilleto heels! These are some serious stompers! I thought what if the boot could come in two or three different  morphs, an under the knee version and just over the knee and mid thigh?? cool

    I think BadKittehCo used to have something not that disimilar for V4. Don't know whether they came over the knee. But converting V4 footware to a current model figure sould like a complete headache. And I doubt that the same ones are still available.

    Got'em, but they are for G3 and unlike clothing shoes don't cross generations, especially heels. There is also https://www.daz3d.com/long-lace-up-boots-for-genesis-8-females and also CruX Killer StaX at rendo are even closer than those you posted, but again for G3. Got bootleggers 2 also, plenty of straps, but missing all the buckles.

    I get the impression that styles like this don't sell well since there are quite a few from different vendors that are close, but for G3 and a G8 version never came out.

    LOL not if you were in a hurry. Like something crawling into your boot and was nipping at your toes!

    Those are really close. Arryn does make some shoes that has morphs in the shoe for platform and no platform, would be nice for some to include flat boot to heeled, but I know there is a way to adjust the foot pose and just bury the sole into the ground so you don't see the platform/heel. Yet, putting G3 shoes on G8 is a nightmare. I don't think the old V3/V4 method of hiding the feet work when the shins stick out.

    FWIW I was expecting CruX Killer StaX to laugh at my feeble mortal attempts to put them on G8, but they autofit without me needing to make any adjustments. This character ended up with some slight heel warping, but she also has some wacky fantasy morphs going on and I don't see that on a regular G8F load. (Edit: Oh now I remember, I ended up having to lock her feet. As far as I've seen that prevents most pose weirdness.)

    I have all of those and some boots by Arryn as well, and true about not selling well makes one wonder why they don't sell well.. The interesting thing about converting though is that going from G3 to G8 seems to give better results, than going the other way.. As I have tried converting G8 footwear to G3 and get the feet of the boot/shoes being bigger than normal when using autofit..

    Yeah Arryn does some really good work, there are a few more boot types on Rendo.. When converting footwear from G3 to G8 autofit can make a mess, and there are some products that even doing the manual way refuse to work.. But there are some that will work just a lot of trial and error and some aggravation..  smiley
