Any way to permanently load g8's face control sliders onto g8.1?
Hello everyone,
As the title says, I'm trying to see if there is a way to allow G8's facial sliders to permanently get loaded into the facial sliders for g8.1. To explain which sliders i'm talking about; think about sliders such as individual eyelid control up and down, mouth corners up and down, the sliders you'd pose your face with on g8.
After my own testing, I've found that by loading a g8 model onto a g8.1, these sliders will appear, and you can control these as normal. They would respond the same, and work as intended. However, as soon as you close daz down, and reload a scene, these sliders would have disappeared, and the expression of your g8.1 would be wonky. The fastest way to fix this currently is to once again apply the G8 model to your G8.1, and it's back to normal. However in some cases this doesn't always seem to do the trick quite right, and I'd have to save the pose, remove the 8.1 entirely, reload her in, apply the g8 once more and then it tends to look right.
My question is if there is any way to ensure that g8's facial sliders would work permanently on g8.1? Due to this issue I'm currently not liking to work with g8.1 as much as I would normally, since I liked my g8 sliders ^.^; I'd love to hear any suggestions!

Making the G8 base expressions (and any expressions that are using them) work on G8.1 requires removing dummy/placeholder expressions that are installed to G8.1 morph folders - These dummy/placeholder expression files have no other function than to prevent the base G8 expressions from loading.
The dummy/placeholder files are located in;
...\Data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Female 8_1\Morphs\Daz 3D\Base Pose Head\ (255 files)
...\Data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Female 8_1\Morphs\Daz 3D\Expressions\ (24 files)
...\Data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Male 8_1\Morphs\Daz 3D\Base Pose Head\ (255 files)
...\Data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Male 8_1\Morphs\Daz 3D\Expressions\ (24 files)
Please make sure you are removing the files from G8.1 morph folders and not G8 morph folders.
This did the trick! thank you so much, this made me a very happy renderer!
