Why Won't Orange Discord Announcement Banner Go Away?

Yesterday I got the orange banner advertising the Daz Discord push and immediately clicked on the "x" to dismiss it. Today it's still there.

Does the "x" button not work any more?

    It's a different coupon code from yesterday.

    It is a different coupon from yesterday and thus is a new banner. If you click the x again it will go away. 

    Since this question has been asked and answered I'm going to go ahead and lock this thread.
