Late to the GF8.1 conversation

Hate to bother isf this hass been covered extensivcel;y but does GF8.1 not longer have independent lip controls - I do I perhaps have some sort of install problem?

I see no separate Lip controsls.

Pretty sure it does if you drill down to the face in the PowerPoser (it looks like a yellow, white, blue, ..., drawing of the regions you contract in Power Pose) or in the Scene Tab on the bones in the lips.
