Having a problem finding Darius [SOLVED]

I'm fairly new to DAZ, but have been able to get around it decently well. Able to add characters, putting props and clothing on characters, all the way up to rendering as an amateur.

I ended up buying 'Darius 6' and a few others, and installed it using the install manager. I can not find how to add Darius (nor the Drakehair). I just don't see him in my inventory of items to add to scene.

    Since he is based on Genesis 2 Male, you should find him in DAZ Studio Formats > My DAZ 3D Library > People > Genesis 2 Male > Characters. At least that is where I would look (I don't have this character to check for you)

    The simple way to find where items have been installed to using DIM, is to go to the Installed tab, find the item and click on it, then right click and select 'Show Installed Files', that will show you the Library name, and where all of the items in the package were installed to.

    Thank you, you did point me in a direction that helped. Apparently, something went missing in the install. Trying to load him into the scene gave me a few errors, but I can use it. Have to look in the Poser branch though. The regular Darius 6 branch looks completely empty.

    I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling the product from scratch, see if that helps.

    .. And that seemed to work. I now have him in the Figures area!

    Of course.. when all else fails.. delete, reinstall..
