I am on a quest to find my bed.  My quest to find my PJs have been completed and so has my quest to find my shower.

At Dunkin Donuts eating ice cream while looking at a gas station that I cannot tell if it is open or not.  Yep it is open as someone went inside.  Either their outside decore is going for the run down look or it is just stupidly run down but still running somehow?

Using two keyboards to connect to two different devices get confusing.  For some stupid reason entering the password for DIM on the tablet keyboard will not work to log into the software.

...I often have both my old notebook and my work system running at the same time.  There have been times I got frustrated when I couldn't seem to select anything on the main system until I discovered I was using the mouse attached to the notebook.

I have a long bucket list but will never get to it being disabled. Gotta think of a new one.

Yeah, my bucket list has taken a hit lately.  Just a couple years ago I had the brain fart of finally going to St. Peterburg Russia to see the palaces and museums and attend a symphony at one of the grand old theaters.  So I started learning Russian (something I was always curious about anyway).  I've kept my passport active, and I checked out the flights to Europe and the prices of cruises from Scandanavia, and hotel costs and visa requirements, and Russian visitor regulations and even my bank account was cooperative (just barely).  All was set and I figured in about two years I could navigate this impossible dream.  Then my body started pooping out on me.  Nowdays I can't walk to the post office or walk the local mall without sore feet & knees that takes two days to recover from, and all this medical crap has poked a big hole in my savings. sad  But at least I did learn enough Russian to read stop signs & street names on the road, recognize restaurants and pharmacies by their window signs, read names of people and places, and from the Russian car crash videos on YouTube I can recognize when someone is called an idiot.  (They say идиот, pronounced "ee-dee-oht"). smiley  AND after much research, listening, practice and memorizing I can recite two well known Russian poems in fluent and passable Russian surprise (How many people do you know who can recite even one English poem that isn't bawdy? ) devil

PS: if you watch the Russian car crash YouTubes you'll notice the rectangular white stop signs with the letters "СТОП" pronounced "stop". devil

I just had to get a handicap placard cause I can't walk across the parking lot of stores without stopping. By back kills most of the time. I'm in physical therapy for the 3rd time atm. I feel pretty good when I leave but once I'm home for a couple hours my pain comes right back. I can't walk more than 50ft without stopping to take a break and let my back calm down. I can't stand more than 20 minutes and also walking is about 20 minutes before I am so bad I need to lay down to take pressure off. I'm still fighting disability after 3 yrs now. Every Dr I go to has said I'm disabled and can't work the minimalist of jobs. The judge just keeps turning me down. Hell the vocational person they have at the hearings said I can't work any jobs and still got turned down. I'm starting to think it's my age.

My bucket list includes clean the fish tank.  Oh wait that is not my bucket list but what I am planning to do with my two fish buckets.

...aches and pains getting the better of me as well and heading into the season that "pains" me the most.

I still ride my bike (though at a much more leisurely pace than I used to when I was commuting to work every day) and also take long walks, but there are times now I find I have to stop and rest more often as well or I really feel it the next morning.

For going to the market friends keep telling me to get one of those collapsible shopping trolleys but I dislike them as often when I'm on the bus or local tram, they tend to turn the aisle into an obstacle course (and in this area of town it is not unusual to see two or three people with them on board) which is something I don't wish to contribute to.  When the weather is good (meaning no water from the sky), I do a large market trip on my bike as I have two big side bags that hook to the rear carrier along with my shoulder bag. Otherwise when I walk or take the tram/bus, I have to be more careful about what I buy as I only only take one reusable shopping bag and my shoulder bag (the latter for the heavy items).  Always good to have one hand free particularly when riding transit just in case the bus ot tram is crowded as well as to steady oneself when getting on/off and show the driver my ride pass without fumbling.around for it.

Bumer is too weak a password.  Try something longer with digits and special symbols.
