Outfit shown on today's front page. What is it?

Hi everyone,

I think I must be missing something blindingly obsious and I expect it's staring me in the face, but I cannot work out what the attached picture is advertising!

It's on the left-hand side of this page. You don't have to scroll too far.

The outfit looks great but I have no idea how to buy it!

    Not that this helps identify it, but it's one of the promos used for Elona.

    Ah thanks! That explains the picture at least. Elona looks good in that outfit too. Maybe the PA can tell me how to get that combination...

    Confusingly at Rendo, they allow different PA's to texture someone else's article. The second 'clothing' is simply a texture addon to the original you showed above, Gordig.

    Oh, I guess it is. It looked like a different fit as well, but maybe they just didn't sim it for those promos or something.

    Thanks both :) I have been caught out by that thing on Renderosity. I once bought some textures thinking it was the outfit and then found the outfit was no longer for sale...

    Nevertheless, I do like those textures and the outfit and textures are both on sale. Thanks for sending it through, I think I'll be getting them both.

    I came close to making that mistake too. Fortunately I spotted it in time. Not greatly enamoured with the Renderosity shop, as it is comparatively difficult to navigate through. It does, however, have the beneficial effect of reducing my spend, so I am not going to complain too loudly.

    Other people making textures for other outfits is a common pratice. There are texture sets availble at Daz not made by the original creator.

    I thought it was just me. Scooped up a few sale items last recently and in the rush didn't pay attention. After installing the new purchases I had to go back and buy 3 outfits that we no longer on sale so I could use my new textures. Ouch! 

    Oh dear, that's worse than me, at least it was only one!

    Daz does at least give a (subtle) warning about required products when you add the basket. Renderosity I don't think there's anything. There ought to be a huge are you really sure you want to buy this???

    They also have a link to the original product in the description usually. I buy a lot there and find it easier to navigate and especially search.

    I also think their filtering is better. If you just want to search for characters here, for exaple, it's really quite hard. Very little filtering here. And yes, it's that little description I watch for now too :)
