It depends upon how they were made. It "might" be possible to make a morph that turns the dial.

Yes that's what I was thinking, a model of a controller to have a knob that can be turned using a dial on the Parameters Tab.

The essence of the question is - how to tune parameters with the keyboard?

As long as you can use the keyboard to adjust parameters, you can use different devices with knobs, and also gamepads

Many hardware devices come with knobs, and it would be a wonderful experience to use them to adjust parameters (such as poses, expressions, deformations, surfaces)

 That's okay, 50/50 chance ;-) If there's a wrong way to read something, I'll probably find it lol ...

I'm not aware of any myself let alone how to make them work with D/S.

This might be a good question to pose to the Technical dept of Daz3D via a Customer Support Ticket. It likely won't be answered very swiftly but they are the ones who may or not, be able to look into this situation and do something.

I think the OP is asking if a physical knob on a device can be made to adjust a parameter within Daz Studio. I would guess no without specific support. Like 3D Connexion devices are supported by a plugin.

Although that McjHIDKit.zip thing looks interesting...
